This is my journey in mothering my miracles. There are love letters to my children and reflections on discovering that autism resides within our home, and embracing it."BY WISDOM A HOUSE IS BUILT, AND THROUGH UNDERSTANDING IT IS ESTABLISHED; THROUGH KNOWLEDGE ITS ROOMS ARE FILLED WITH RARE AND BEAUTIFUL TREASURES." PROVERBS 24: 3-4
"THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO LIVE: YOU CAN LIVE AS IF NOTHING IS A MIRACLE; YOU CAN LIVE AS IF EVERYTHING IS A MIRACLE." - ALBERT EINSTEIN
Clay Clay the Wonder Boy
Clay Clay the Wonder Boy is our resident Super Hero. You can find him catapulting himself from couch to chair in a single bound. He can be heard spouting off any of the 10,000 movies and PBS kids TV shoes he's seen and memorized in his lifetime; his memory is simply astonishing. He loves all things Thomas, ocean, and Cars! He enjoys procrastinating bedtime and eating on his time and in his terms. He has a strong adversion to haircuts, and a strong preference for chocolate ice cream! He likes cuddling, jumping off the couch, and tickles. He engages in the daily, usually successful, manipulation of the house "tucker inner" to read books and cuddle just a little longer. You can find him in our home screaming "To Infinity and Beyond" by day, and "Ca-chow" by night.
